In this 6-week online MBCT training programme starting in September we will learn about & practice Mindfulness, as well as look closely at how the mind works and the reasons why many people feel a deep-seated dissatisfaction with life that they cannot pin-point, which gives rise to anxiety and unhappiness.

Mindfulness is learning to be in the moment, of being in a state of active and open attention to the present, rather than worrying about the future or the past. Learning to focus on feelings rather than pushing them away.

MBCT training is a modified form of cognitive therapy that incorporates mindfulness practices such as meditation and breathing exercises. Using these tools, we learn how to break away from negative thought patterns, how to be more emotionally resilient and self-compassionate, thus working towards bringing more joy and lasting happiness.

This course spans over 6 weeks, with live sessions held on Mondays from 6pm-8pm. Sessions will be held in-person at Rivotorto Retreat House.

The course is accredited by the EFT and Mindfulness Centre in the UK.
